BRYAN RAWLINGS, SHA – Heraldic Sculptor
Bryan graduated in ceramic sculpture with first class honours from Stoke-on-Trent College of Art and pursued a successful career in commercial sculpture, completing many prestigious commissions for blue chip companies and British and foreign governments, and made full craft member of the Society of Heraldic Arts.
In 2023, he was awarded a Master of Arts degree in Fine Art from Bath Spa University. His course leader described his sculpture work as ‘brilliant and unique’.
After graduating he was accepted as Artist in Residence at the Emerge studios, Sion Hill in Bath, which was extended for a second year. Here he has developed his interest in painting as well as further sculpture work.
His artwork has been shown at the Mall Galleries, London; Victoria Art Gallery, Bath; Tom Zaw Gallery, Hoddesdon; The Roper Gallery, Bath; the Bargehouse Gallery, London; the Bath Contemporary Artists Fair; the Holburne Museum, Bath; The Himalayan Gardens and Sculpture Park, Ripon for the 2025 season, and the Lusus Naturae exhibition as part of the Fringe Arts Bath festival 2025.
