PUBLICATIONS
JOURNAL
The Heraldic Craftsman was the journal of The Society of Heraldic Arts, first published in 1988.
Articles covered the broadest range of heraldic topics, highlighting artists, techniques, disciplines within heraldic studies, and much more.
Unfortunately, publication of The Heraldic Craftsman ceased with the 100th edition in August 2018. This was essentially due to the cost of producing a quarterly full-colour publication and the increasing burden of posting hard copies to members and academic institutions throughout the world.
However, illustrated articles are always welcomed for publication in the News & Views section of the Society’s website. These should be sent to (NEIL?) at (???). Ideally, all submissions should be in Microsoft Word DOC/DOCX format. Illustrations should be 300dpi in color JPG or PNG format as applicable.
In future, select articles from previous issues will be posted in this space for general heraldic reference.
