SIAN VAUGHAN JONES, SHA

Sian is a designer, jeweller, and metalworker based in North Wales, UK. All of her creations are made from sterling silver, brass, or copper. Still active, she started making jewellery when she was fifteen and has been working with various metals for over forty years.

Following her BA Hons in Jewellery/Design, at Central School of Art & Design (London), she worked briefly in Scotland and then in London, as a jeweller/designer before moving abroad in 1991.

She lived and worked as a self-employed Designer/Creator, jeweller/metalworker in Germany and Brittany (France) until 2014, when she moved back to the UK with her partner. Together they set up a partnership – VTA – in 2015.

Her work is predominantly commission-based and she has been fortunate enough to have been asked to make many marvellous bespoke pieces.
